New Moon in Capricorn

New Moon in Capricorn

Just when we would rather be at the beach there are things that need seeing too.  There’s Capricorn’s influence, so like it or not we have things to do.

January/February

Today’s new moon in the sign of Capricorn reminds us of our responsibilities.  The earth energy keeps us practical, and if we think like the Mountain Goat, we can use the next 30 day lunar cycle to make steady progress to the top of the hill.  The view will be of 2018’s potential.

Sometimes within restriction (thank Capricorn’s ruler Saturn the taskmaster for that) we can find a sense of freedom.  The pleasure of achievement, less angst about what road to take.  Potentially money may be tight (and when isn’t that the case post-Christmas), so we seek to find ways to experience the more simple joys of life.

It’s six months since the Aug/Sept eclipses (which heralded the start of this latest round of life-changing events), and the coming full moon will be another round in that series.  Letting go will still be a major theme in some parts of life.  When we let go of the old there is room for the new to arrive.  When we hold on to the old the universal flow is stopped and then it feels like everything is stuck.

So the question for the month is – what no longer serves you.  Habits, attitudes, activities, relationships; put them all under the spotlight in the next 30 days.

“Yay for the Online version of the 35 Day Detox Challenge” – Hmm

I’m not going to lie – kicking off the online course last year has been challenging.  I said it was outside my comfort-zone but little did I realise how far out it is.

Personal development is difficult.  There is no quick fix, or magic potion, the work has to be done.  And that means uncovering layers of thinking and conditioning that we tucked away to protect ourselves from hurt.

Still the good news is we can go at our own pace, the program does work, and we can hold a safe space to allow change to unfold naturally.

So if a challenge is what you like – and you think the best investment of your time and money is on yourself – then join me for one of the courses I’m running in the first half of 2018.  Just saying though – the February Chinese New Year is the one you don’t want to miss!

Investment is $59 for the five week program.  That includes weekly emails with challenges, a private FB support group and a live Q&A session each week.

You can register on the website under the “shop” button.

Love,
Suz

Fresh Vege Juices

It makes sense that if you want to feel more alive you need more live foods.  Everything (including our body) is a vibration of energy and consuming processed (or dead) foods will take you down – not lift you up.

On February 16th we will enter the Chinese Year of the Earth Dog.  Loyal, stubborn, and with a never give up attitude; the goal of the year will be more connection and the ability to see other perspectives.  Sometimes though the pendulum needs to swing the other way before it settles – more on this subject (including some help from Feng Shui) next month.
