Matariki and planting the seeds for the summer harvest

It’s the halfway point of 2018

Yes scary to say we are there already.  I’m sure there are plans for year-end that just a month ago seemed in the distant future.  This week and next we get a wake-up call from the Universe …

Outdoor meditation

In the days leading up to the new moon it’s great to finish projects and then clear the decks ready for a new game to unfold.  Thursday June 14th is the new moon in Gemini – the sign of the twins – so expect to some flip flop between various options, thoughts and emotions.  Try them out in your mind and see which path you truly want to take.

The solstice follows a week later on June 21st.  The days will once again start to get longer.  Now is when we plant the seeds of intention the will come to fruition at Christmas/mid-summer.

The Maori tradition of Matariki looks to the stars prior to the new moon to foretell the coming season, and celebrations take place to honor the new energy at the new moon.

The Aquarius/Leo eclipses are back again next month, the third in this series.  Take a quick look back to August 2017 and February 2018 to see the major changes playing out in your life.  Expect further changes to be forthcoming.

And if that wasn’t enough – we are also back in the super-moon energy.  All-in-all this is a potent time for change.

My best advice – set clear intentions.  If we shoot for something we are far more likely to be going in the right direction, rather than being at the mercy of other’s agendas.

Expanded options for the 35 Day Detox Challenge

After taking a break for the last couple of months, all these potential changes scream 35DD Challenge.  If for no other reason to provide structure and support as we process change!

The online program is now open for June.  It’ll close on Thursday 14th.  Suz will be facilitating this plus the July, August and September groups too.

Locally (in Kapiti) we have a monthly meeting running.  It’s free and a great introduction to all things detox.  So if you are in the region come along on Thursday 21st 7 – 9 pm at the Kapiti Women’s Centre.  There’ll be plenty of opportunity to ask questions.

In addition Suz is now taking private clients.  So if you have a specific goal in mind – and would like to restructure your life to achieve that – then drop us a line and we can chat.

Alternatively if Personal Development is your thing then reach out –  we’re actively seeking to assist – and pass on experience and wisdom.

Lemon Meringue Smoothie

Lemon Smoothie

Quarter fresh lemons and freeze.  They can be thawed and added to a vanilla protein smoothie to give a welcome burst of flavour (and vitamins) during the winter months.
